Vomer

The vomer is the flat, sharp-edged midline bone forming the dorsal part of the nasal septum. It is the only bone in the nasal septum that directly joints the nasal cavity's top and bottom surface.

The vomer is a part of the nasal septum. In the front it contacts with the rostrum of sphenoid and lamina perpendicularis of ethmoid bone.
